This house is a showcase home

Size 1763 Sq Ft heated, 504 under porches.

Location - Oak Street, nestled deep in the heart of McKinney’s Historical district

Directions - From 75 take Virginia Louisiana to downtown McKinney. Turn left on Waddill and first right on to Hunt Street. Oak Street is the second cross Street. Turn right and the home appears immediately on the left.

Plan Changes - The lower elevations have been changed to “Artisan” siding from James Hardie. An exciting new product which mimics traditional plank siding with angled mitered corners.

Specifications - This home is constructed on a steel frame with pushed steel piers which extend all the way to rock. These are not to be confused with drilled piers which may only extend to a specified depth. This foundation was designed by Allied Engineering Services of Dallas and carries a lifetime warranty from the installing subcontractor Tri-Point Foundation Company.

The house is framed as a traditional style pier and beam home with all the advantages of a crawl space over a concrete slab.

Design - The home has a beautiful open floor plan with all the prerequisites you would expect from a Southern Living plan. A self contained master suite with ample closet space, a laundry room, open plan kitchen and dining with triple French doors to rear screened porch. The second floor has two additional large bedroom and bathroom. The front porch has Chippendale style railings and is elegantly proportioned to the size and style of the home.
